The Commissary Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food in large volumes according to standardized recipes and safety standards. This role supports the daily food production needs of restaurants, catering services, and retail food products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation and Cooking
Prepare ingredients according to batch recipes
Cook assigned dishes, sauces, or proteins following the commissary’s quality standards
Ensure correct portioning, texture, and flavor of finished products
2. Kitchen Operations
Operate kitchen equipment (e.g., steamers, fryers, tilting pans, choppers) safely
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas
Label, date, and store items correctly (FIFO method)
3. Safety and Sanitation
Comply with all food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP/GMP)
Wear proper kitchen attire and practice safe handling of hot equipment and sharp tools
Report any spoilage, contamination, or hazards to the supervisor immediately
4. Coordination and Reporting
Coordinate with fellow cooks and kitchen leads for workflow and task completion
Participate in daily production briefings and communicate concerns
Record and report any inventory shortages, wastage, or damaged equipment
Qualifications:
Culinary Arts Graduate, TESDA NCII Cookery or equivalent training preferred.
With Experience.
Basic knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and sanitation standards
Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and lift heavy pots or containers
Willing to work early shifts, weekends, and holidays

Compensation:
Base Salary: ₱18,000
