POSITION: Maintenance Officer

LOCATION: AIKON Food Corporation Extension Office - Rosario Commercial Lane,

Rosario Avenue, Rosario Complex, San Pedro City, Laguna (near Southwoods City)

SALARY: ₱25,000/month

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Officer is responsible for the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, and small appliances to ensure optimal functioning of facilities. The role includes routine inspections, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to climate control, power systems, and minor mechanical appliances within the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems including air conditioning units, fans, and ventilation systems.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems such as lighting, power outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and panels.

  • Diagnose and fix issues in small appliances and machines such as microwaves, water dispensers, coffee machines, and toasters.

  • Conduct inspections and maintenance of wiring, outlets, and control systems to ensure safety and compliance.

  • Log and report equipment issues, maintenance tasks, and completion timelines.

  • Manage inventory of tools, parts, and maintenance supplies.

  • Assist in maintaining general facility equipment and infrastructure.

  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and building codes.

  • Provide support during emergency repairs and respond promptly to maintenance requests.


Qualifications:

  • Technical diploma or certification in HVAC, Electrical Technology, or Appliance Repair.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical work, and small appliance maintenance.

  • Ability to read technical manuals and electrical schematics.

  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair techniques.

  • Certification in HVAC (EPA, HVAC-R) and/or as a Licensed Electrician is an advantage.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

  • Physical fitness and ability to work in various environments (e.g., rooftops, confined spaces).
