Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation & Handling
Assist in washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients according to standardized recipes.
Prepare and assemble food items for restaurant and catering orders.
Ensure all ingredients and food products are stored properly to maintain freshness.
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to prevent contamination.
2. Packaging & Inventory Management
Weigh, label, and package food items accurately for delivery to restaurants and catering events.
Monitor and report low stock levels of ingredients and supplies to the Commissary Supervisor.
Ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method is applied to reduce food wastage.
Assist in receiving and inspecting raw materials from suppliers.
3. Sanitation & Food Safety Compliance
Maintain cleanliness in the commissary, including workstations, storage areas, and equipment.
Adhere to hygiene protocols such as wearing gloves, hairnets, and proper uniform.
Regularly clean and sanitize food prep surfaces, utensils, and machinery.
Dispose of expired or spoiled food items as per company policy.
Comply with local health and safety regulations.
4. Equipment Use & Maintenance
Operate kitchen and food processing equipment safely and efficiently.
Report any malfunctioning equipment or maintenance needs to the Commissary Supervisor.
Ensure all food production tools and machines are cleaned after use.
5. Coordination & Efficiency
Assist in organizing and preparing bulk food orders for catering and restaurant distribution.
Follow schedules and deadlines for food preparation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
High School Graduate.
With or Without Experience.
Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and detail.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads.
WORK SCHEDULE
On-site daily
Early start / flexible hours based on production load
Overtime during peak production periods
Compensation:
Base Salary: ₱15,600 per month
